On changes in the terms and order of reporting

Dear Clients!

Please be advised that on 27 May 2014 on Bank of Russia official website a press-release was published that Ministry of Justice has registered Bank of Russia’s  Directive No. 3253-U dated 30 April 2014 ‘On Rules for Maintaining a Register of Transactions Concluded on the Terms and Conditions of a Master Agreement (Single Agreement), on Reporting Deadlines and Data to be Entered in the Register, and on Providing Deadlines and Data to be Entered in the Register, and on Providing the Register of Transactions Concluded on the Terms and Conditions of a Master Agreement (Single Agreement) to the Central Bank of the Russian Federation (the Bank of Russia)’ (hereinafter – the Directive , available in Russian), which represents amended FFMS of Russia Order 11-68/pz-n dated 28 December, 2011.

In accordance with the Directive, the following changes shall come in effect:

  • Mandatory reporting for contracts (trades) under master agreements, excluding repo and FX swap trades, is moved to 1 January, 2015 (see the ‘Reporting terms’ section of NSD’s website).
  • Order of reporting on master agreements and contracts (trades), concluded between the market participants when one of the party is a foreign entity.
