Deutsche Bank today announced that with effect from February 13, 2013, it has changed the place of safekeeping for all underlying shares of Russian incorporated issuers with depositary receipt programs. The newly appointed Central Securities Depository - National Settlement Depository (NSD) - will become the main place of safekeeping for the underlying shares.
The current measure will significantly facilitate the issuance and cancellation settlement procedure on Russian DRs in the field of timing, settlement streamlining and associated costs.
