National Settlement Depository (NSD) and Central Counterparty National Clearing Center (CCP NCC), both Moscow Exchange Group companies, held the annual scientific and practical conference “The Future of Financial Infrastructure” for students from leading economic universities. Forty-two students representing eight teams attended the event.
Conference participants presented the jury with the results of research conducted under the supervision of mentors (NSD and CCP NCC experts). At the end of the presentation day, the jury selected the best studies. They included research on the international practices of the organization of trading and OTC instrument clearing, of carry traders on the government debt market, and of the impact of the introduction of central banks’ digital currencies on SWIFT development globally and domestically.
The conference represents an opportunity for students to conduct research and study the financial market: implementing innovation, searching out new market niches, and developing new services and products. The teams with the best projects received the right to participate in a simplified selection for the NSD Perspective paid internship, proposed by NSD and CCP NCC.
